Removed Features

Clear Button

Before there were Shop and Pets buttons under your animal's picture in the inventory screen, there was a button Clear. When you click that button, it will remove all clothes from your animal.

Play Timer

The Play Timer used to appear at the top of the screen, in between room's name and police badge.

You could click it to set the countdown clock. When the time was up, you'd get notified and the timer

icon would glow.

Old Animal's Names

Some Animal's Names were previously available but no longer are. They are still possible

to have on an animal, but if you delete your animal with any of these names, you can't get them back!

Full names

These 4 names were only available via redeeming gift cards

King Of The Jungle - Lion Exclusive

Arctic Wolf - Arctic Wolf Exclusive

Snow Leopard - Show Leopard Exclusive

Spring Bunny- Spring Bunny Exclusive 

Name Parts

Certain Name Parts Also got removed. By " name parts " I mean the words you have to pick

while making a new animal ( example: Dancing scary and jammer )

Rosey - This could be used as the first part of animal's name. It got replaced with Rosy.

Mate - This could be used as the last part of animal's name in early beta. This is the only one

at the list that got completely removed, so you can't have an animal with word Mate in its name!

Fun Fact: Mate got replaced with Buddy!

Different Otter Fish

Otters can summon fish as part of their  : play : action. When otters were first released,

the color of the fish were dependent on your otter's Color 1 

( Now, they are always white)

However the lines of the fish are still dependent on Color 2

Removed Achievements

One Of A Kind!

One Of A Kind! was given to you if you bought a pet with a rare feature. It was only 

available for about 6 or 7 months after pets were first released. Since the Pet Stop

came out, it's no longer possible to try for a rare for a rare feature when buying a pet.

That being said, it's impossible to get this achievement now, but still possible

to own if you earned it while it was available!

Answer The Call!

Answer The Call! was given to you if you voted on 15 different polls around Jamaa. AJHQ

doesn't have those polls anymore, which means you can't get this achievement anymore

either. Just like One Of A Kind! it's still possible to own if you earned it

while it was available.

 Herbology Expert!

Herbology Expert was an achievement from early beta. No one really

knows a lot about this achievement but, it think this achievement was given to you

if you clicked on all plant facts around Jamaa. Unlike the above two achievements,

it's impossible to own this achievement as it was completely removed.

Chat Emotes

After a certain update, using faces like :) or emote codes like :cool: in chat along with

other text would make a smaller version of the emote appear with the text. This feature

was removed shortly after updates, probably due to some bugs.

Using certain emotes like :game: or :sad: would make chat glitch up

TBA

TBA was an unfinished version of Halloween adventure, Bitter Sweets. It was accidentally 

added to party menu. You could earn rares pretty fast. TBA stands for:

To Be Announced. 

2012 Hat

When Fancy Top Hats first came out,wearing one on a tiger and using the :sleep:

action would cause " 2012 " and fireworks to come out of a hat. 

Fancy Top Hats were originally meant to be New Year's themed hats.

They have similar appearance to New Year's Celebration Hat.

Chat Symbols

Players used to be able to type a wider variety of symbols in AJ chat. Those symbols were:

 († only showed up as a blank space)

Now the only symbols you can use are; ! ? . , ' ( ) :

AJHQ Message In Settings

When My Settings menu was introduced it used to show the most recent AJHQ message.

Help Us Name Our Server Button

In May 2011 a button to the server select screen. It let you suggest names for new servers.

Game Icon On the Map

Before Appondale came out in April 2011, there used to be game icons on the map

indicating where the minigames were. Since the Sol Arcade wasn't originally there, the only

way to play minigames was by going to rooms that had them. ( and by playing

den game machines which came out later )

The " teleport to a buddy " button used to always take you to the den they were 

regardless if it was locked or not.That means you could get into locked den

without being the den owner's buddy.
